What PAP stands for? SINGAPORE - Two People's Action Party (PAP) ministers have launched
separate attacks on the Opposition questioning their tactics and whether
they can take care of Singapore better than the ruling party.
Singaporeans, however, know what the PAP stands for, said Mr Wong.
Mr
Wong, who is leading the PAP's team in Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC, said all
political parties must have specific goals and values. "Once they say 'I
can borrow a member here, a member there', what does it mean? I'm not
sure they understand what they stand for. It's for the people to decide
if that's a kind of team they want to vote for," said Mr Wong. |

"We stand for making sure that Singapore continues to survive, to
grow our people, to continue to have jobs. And we continue to improve
the quality of living, and we make sure we continue to be competitive in
the workplace." See

Er, question of thought comes to mind - "Now, isn't making sure Singapore
continues to survive, to grow our people, to continue to have jobs
..." is the job of every elected government in the world, otherwise they
will be voted out the next election. Now why would our dear DPM Wong Kan
Seng say this as if he doesn't know that voters will surely knows that what
he is saying is the job of every elected government unless he is "marketing"
PAP as THE party to vote using offline media?
Our next question therefore is will PAP repeated tactics of using old
media i.e. offline newspaper reports to "sell themselves" work this time?
Will people go online to seek alternative views or too lazy to seek
alternative views. Newspaper will of course will not report other
versions of what Singaporeans felt in their opinion what PAP stands
which can be found on many internet websites.
To briefly summarize, some online versions of what PAP stands in the eyes
of fellow Singaporeans are :- PAP stands for "making sure that
foreigners survive in Spore, grow and have jobs here, NOT Singaporeans.
PAP stands for "there are no talents in Singapore, only foreign
talents". PAP stands for "rejecting local talent, putting foreign
talents on pedestal". PAP
stands for "Non-PAP people that makes simple mistake like forgetting
where he put an election form in 2006 will get a memorable few days of
attacks published offline boldly whereas major mistake like allowing a
dangerous terrorist escape from detention thereby affecting very badly
Singapore reputation only get ... PAP
stands for "Vote PAP for securing Foreigners future, not Singaporeans
future and not Singapore children's future". PAP stands for "Why should
I be voting for a party that I supported and voted for so many elections
that now rejected me, your local Singaporean wife and goes for foreign
bride".
What are your views? What do you think in your opinion PAP stands
for? Are you afraid like many others of your children's future if PAP
continues to be in power? Do you think this current PAP is the same as
the old PAP that you have voted for years ago? |
