Singaporeans urge government for yearly fixed quota on imported citizens and PR
Singaporeans urge government for yearly fixed quota on imported citizens and PRs in Singapore Constitution

SINGAPORE: Singaporeans have urged Singapore Government to implement yearly fixed quota on imported citizens and PRs in Singapore Constitution.

Singaporeans have made this call after the Singapore General Election 2011 upon seeing such obvious great discontent and dissatisfaction with PAP government for its unchecked and relentless importation of foreigners into Singapore resulting in high property prices, congestions in transportation and loss of jobs and incomes by local Singaporeans.

As Singapore turned 46 this year, Singaporeans noted that although its people now enjoy better amenities in areas such as healthcare and education, there are much unhappiness and resentment against PAP government in this general election 2011.

Therefore Singaporeans have urged PAP government to do their part and work together with unhappy Singaporeans to listen to their true complaints and implement yearly fixed quota on imported citizens and PRs in Singapore Constitution.

The PAP government must unite with the people and implement such a move to truly reassure the Singapore population that their Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is really advocating Singaporeans First, especially at a time when the US, Europe and Japan are grappling with problems.

Singaporeans in general do agree with what Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong had said earlier at a National Day Carnival at his Teck Ghee ward on Sunday 21 Aug 2011 "And most important of all, we have to work together as one country, so that our little ship can be stable even when there are storms and waves and we can move forward as one united people and reach our destination together."

But the question on Singaporeans' mind are whether would Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong really implement such a move to show concrete and institutionalised Singaporeans First limitation in Singapore Constitution

Even as Singapore faces the challenges, Singaporeans feel that it is important that PAP also remembers the country's successes are secured with the cooperation of Singaporeans with PAP and for PAP to appreciate such cooperation by law abiding and supportive Singaporeans for PAP.
