Singapore too small to afford political paralysis: Singaporeans
Singapore too small to afford political paralysis: Singaporeans

SINGAPORE: Many Singaporeans wish to alert the PAP government that Singapore is too small to afford political paralysis.

Many Singaporeans agree that there is a need to get Singapore's politics right.

Many Singaporeans felt that there is more that the PAP government can do and the government must play their part in the country's progress and the country unity, especially when there are many uncertainties in the world.

Singaporeans who have been watching the stock market going up and down recently are alerted to the uncertainties in the world and are aware that there are deep problems in America and Europe.

And it's because of such uncertainties that Singaporeans stressed that the PAP government must work together with Singaporeans to meet the challenges.

Singaporeans are of the view that we must have harmonious political system where when the PAP government makes important decisions, it must be in the best interests of Singapore and Singaporeans and not just for foreigners.

Singaporeans hope that the PAP government is aware that we are too small to be able to afford impasse and gridlock, to have two sides blocking one another.

So while Singaporeans await the PAP government to implement real concrete actions for Singapore and Singaporeans for example like yearly fixed quota on imported citizens, PRs or foreign labour in our Singapore Constitution, Singaporeans urged the PAP government to put on more efforts to come up with ideas to make the country better after all didn't 60% of Singaporeans voted for PAP.
